President Bola Ahmed Tinubu faces fresh public scrutiny following a strong video message from social media personality Mamapee.

The activist questioned the president’s integrity, urging him to clear lingering allegations. She highlighted long-standing controversies surrounding his background.

“If you think you’re not a criminal, go to the court and prove yourself,” Mamapee stated bluntly in the widely circulated clip.

“You forfeited 460,000 dollars to the US, are you not supposed to be checked?” she continued.

Court records from 1993 show Tinubu forfeited $460,000 in a civil asset forfeiture case linked to accounts in Chicago. Authorities alleged connections to narcotics proceeds, though no criminal conviction followed.

Mamapee pressed further on educational qualifications. “Your certificates do not tally,” she declared. “The primary school you claimed you attended does not exist as at the time you quoted it.”

She referenced claims of attendance at St. Paul’s Aroloya Primary School in Lagos, which critics say never existed during the stated period. Earlier INEC filings listed varying school details across elections.

“You’re a person of concern,” Mamapee concluded, labeling Tinubu a figure warranting serious public attention.

The remarks have sparked renewed online debate. Many users echoed her calls for accountability, while supporters dismissed them as recycled opposition talking points.

Tinubu’s camp has previously attributed discrepancies to lost documents from the 1990s military era and errors in past filings. He maintains he graduated from Chicago State University.

No immediate response came from the presidency to Mamapee’s latest salvo. The video continues to gain traction on social platforms.

The episode underscores persistent questions about transparency in high public office, even years into Tinubu’s tenure. Critics argue unresolved doubts erode public trust.
