Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has accused music label Chocolate City of orchestrating multiple attempts to have him arrested. He links the moves directly to his public exposure of an alleged sexual abuser under the label's roof.
In a series of posts on X, the self-styled "Industry Machine" detailed what he described as the ninth failed attempt. "9TH ATTEMPT GONE WRONG. MY MOTION DEY PEPPER THEM," he wrote.
"CHOCOLATE CITY HAVE BEEN TRYING TO ARREST ME FOR THE LONGEST TIME. THEY TRIED BEFORE MY AMERICAN TOUR, NOW!!, THEY ARE TRYING WITH THE EUROPEAN TOUR," Odumodublvck continued. He claimed the timing aligns with his international dates.
The rapper pointed to his decision to call out the alleged abuser as the root cause. "BECAUSE I EXPOSED THE SEXUAL ABUSER UNDER THEIR ROOF, THEIR LIES AND THEIR BOTS," he stated. He questioned public silence amid the label's alleged "gimmicks."
Odumodublvck tagged key figures including @bizzleosikoya, @abuchiipeter, and @Audu. "MY DOGS," he wrote, before adding, "UNA NEVER TIRE?" He asserted confidence ahead of his European tour.
This latest outburst stems from a long-running feud, primarily with Chocolate City artist Blaqbonez. Tensions have spilled beyond music into legal and physical allegations.
Chocolate City has pushed back strongly. The label accused Odumodublvck of assaulting staff member Feyi Ajayi backstage at the Rhythm Unplugged concert in December 2025. They described it as part of a pattern of harassment and intimidation.
Court proceedings have followed. An Abuja court summoned Odumodublvck over alleged criminal intimidation of a Chocolate City executive. The label has vowed to pursue legal action.
Industry observers note the messy public exchange. Odumodublvck has maintained his stance, previously calling out the label as hypocrites and liars while defending his actions. Supporters and critics remain divided on social media, with some questioning the seriousness of the sexual abuse claims absent formal charges.
The dispute highlights deeper issues in the Nigerian music industry, including artist-label relations, power dynamics, and the handling of serious allegations. Both sides trade claims of victimhood without clear resolution.
Odumodublvck insists he is unfazed. "WE IN EUROPE BABY. UNA OWN NA PLAY," he posted, signaling continued defiance.
As the European tour approaches, fans watch closely. The situation remains fluid, with potential for further legal developments or public statements from the label.
This feud underscores how personal and professional grievances can escalate rapidly in the spotlight. Neither side has offered conclusive evidence on the core sexual abuse allegation, leaving much to public speculation and ongoing investigations.
