Nollywood star Angela Okorie has spoken out following the buzz surrounding her alleged involvement in a WhatsApp group chat connected to the late singer Mohbad. In a recent video shared on her Instagram stories, the actress revealed she was added to the group without her knowledge and left almost immediately after discovering the nature of its discussions.
Angela explained that the person responsible for adding her later called to apologise for over an hour, acknowledging that the move was inappropriate. She stressed that she has no interest in unnecessary drama and prefers to focus on her career and personal life.
Addressing speculations that her comments were directed at fellow actress Iyabo Ojo, Angela clarified that her words were not aimed at her and that she continues to hold respect and admiration for both Iyabo and Naira Marley.
She urged Nigerians to steer clear of online hate and division, reminding everyone that the priority should be justice for Mohbad. According to her, the focus must remain on finding the truth and holding the right people accountable.
