Nigerian content creator Kolu has publicly questioned his exclusion after veteran musician D’banj gifted colleague Carter Efe a brand new car.
The emotional reaction, captured in a viral video, shows Kolu asking, “Tell me why CarterEfe no carry me go where D’banj give am car?” He added that Carter “no be better person at all” and “no want make I buy car.”
The gift occurred during D’banj’s birthday celebrations, where Carter Efe, alongside others like Trinity Guy and Berri Tiga, received vehicles. Kolu was notably absent from the event.
This latest episode stems from an ongoing feud between the duo. Kolu has repeatedly accused Carter Efe of not sharing opportunities or earnings from their joint streams and skits. He claims to have sold his own car and now relies on Uber for safety reasons.
Carter Efe has countered these claims, stating he sent Kolu over ₦2.4 million in the past week alone. He alleged the funds were used for a car, women, and other expenses rather than prudent management.
The pair, known for popular collaborative content, have had public reconciliations before, including over a reported ₦20 million gift from Davido. Fans remain divided on the matter.
No official response from D’banj or Carter Efe on Kolu’s latest plea has been issued.
