Popular Nigerian TikTok stars Peller and Jarvis are officially engaged.
Peller popped the question in a candlelit setup at La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra, Ghana, on June 4, 2026. Jarvis said yes amid light rain and pyrotechnics.
In a recent live session, Jarvis addressed why the proposal happened outside Nigeria.
“Peller didn’t engage me in Nigeria because there are a lot of people with bad intentions to spoil everything,” she stated.
She added concerns about potential disruptions. “Or Agbero will come there and ask us to pay them money.”
The couple, known for their viral comedy skits and chemistry, has built a massive following together. Their relationship has faced ups and downs, including past breakup talks.
Fans celebrated the moment online, with videos of the proposal and a post-engagement kiss going viral. Peller later surprised Jarvis with billboards in Ghana displaying the proposal.
Yet, not all reactions have been positive. Some social media users question if the engagement is genuine or primarily content-driven. Others criticize the choice of Ghana as an unnecessary slight to Nigeria.
Jarvis has confirmed the engagement is real, noting marriage plans will unfold at the right time. She clarified earlier comments during a Channels TV interview.
This development comes amid ongoing scrutiny of their public relationship. Critics have pointed to past statements from Peller about avoiding certain relationships, adding fuel to debates about authenticity.
The pair continues to share affectionate updates, including Jarvis flaunting her ring. Their story highlights the challenges of maintaining privacy in Nigeria's influencer space.
