In a raw and emotional video that has gone viral, popular Nigerian TikToker Habeeb Hamzat, better known as Peller, has finally addressed the nation after a week of intense drama.
The 22-year-old influencer looked remorseful as he pleaded: “I’m sorry Nigerians, please I’m sorry, I will never do that again. I’m very sorry please. For now, I am on medication, once I’m done with my medication, I will be back online.”
The apology comes days after a shocking incident on December 14, 2025, when Peller crashed his brand-new Mercedes-Benz on the Lekki-Epe Expressway during a distressing livestream titled “RIP Peller.”
Visibly crying and emotional, he veered off the road, sparking fears of a deliberate act tied to his recent breakup with fellow TikToker Amadou Elizabeth, aka Jarvis (Jadrolita).
Peller was hospitalized, arrested by Lagos police for reckless driving and attempted suicide, a criminal offense in Nigeria and faced potential prosecution from the FRSC.
Jarvis later confirmed the split on December 16, saying it was “over for now” as Peller needs to work on controlling his emotions. She urged fans to support him instead of mocking.
In his apology, Peller also defended Jarvis against backlash, insisting the blame shouldn't fall on her.
The once adored couple, famous for their playful skits and public romance, has highlighted the pressures of young fame and mental health struggles.
Fans are divided, some sending love and prayers, others criticizing the recklessness that endangered lives.
As Peller steps back for treatment, many hope this marks a turning point for the beloved streamer.
