Nigerian music star Burna Boy has acquired a custom 1-of-1 Venuum Widebody Bugatti Chiron. The hypercar, reportedly worth over ₦9 billion, was unveiled around his birthday celebrations.
The vehicle was customized by Dubai-based Venuum Black. It is described as the world’s first widebody conversion on a Bugatti Chiron.
Features include aggressive carbon fiber flares, racing stripes, a prominent number 7 on the hood, and gold-accented details around the exposed 1,500-horsepower W16 engine. It arrived in Nigeria through Abuja Car dealership.
Industry sources position the car as the most expensive in West Africa. The project began earlier in 2026 with Venuum promising a unique build for the Grammy-winning artist.
Burna Boy had teased the acquisition for months. At a recent Afro Nation performance, he delivered a freestyle referencing the new Bugatti, drawing cheers from fans.
Social media reactions have been largely celebratory. Many hailed it as proof of African excellence in global luxury. Others noted the contrast with local road conditions while acknowledging his success.
The hypercar joins Burna Boy’s existing collection, which includes Ferraris and Rolls-Royces. It underscores his status as one of Africa’s highest-earning entertainers.
No official statement has come directly from the artist on the purchase. Public discourse frames it as a self-gifted birthday present following successful tours.
The development continues to generate buzz across entertainment platforms as fans celebrate the milestone.
