Nigerian cryptocurrency entrepreneur Linus Williams Ifejirika, known as Blord, has made bold claims about his wealth and business empire. In a recent interview video that surfaced on July 2, 2026, he declared his company’s valuation exceeds $180 million.
“The craziest thing is people think I’m rich now, I’m not,” Blord stated. He added that by the end of the year, people will understand what real money means.
Blord continued confidently: “I can tell you that there is no Igbo billionaire who is richer than me. My company is worth more than $180 million.” He mentioned an investor ready to acquire 10% shares of Blord Group for $12 million, about ₦17 billion, by December.
The founder of Blord Group, which spans fintech, crypto, payments, and real estate, built his ventures primarily through cryptocurrency trading. Earlier reports have linked him to net worth estimates around $300 million, though these remain self-reported.
The video, showing Blord in a casual conversation, quickly went viral on X. Reactions ranged from support for his ambition to skepticism about the claims compared to established businessmen.
Blord, born in 1998 in Anambra State, has faced past scrutiny including EFCC issues, which he has credited with boosting his public profile. His businesses include Billpoint Technology and real estate holdings.
The statement has fueled online debates about wealth in Nigeria’s Igbo business community. Blord did not provide independent verification of the figures in the clip.
Observers note such declarations often serve promotional purposes in Nigeria’s dynamic tech and crypto sector. The development comes amid ongoing interest in young Nigerian entrepreneurs.
