The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has sharply criticised Nigerian politicians following the abduction of students and teachers in Oyo State.
In a statement released on Sunday through his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, the popular prophet described the country's leaders as heartless and satanic to the nation.
"Our politicians are heartless and satanic to the nation, and there is no way nemesis will not fight," Ayodele stated. He questioned the effectiveness of Nigeria's security apparatus and accused the government of ignoring prior warnings.
The cleric expressed disappointment with religious bodies like CAN and PFN. He claimed they have failed to speak truth to power.
"What is happening is a shame to CAN, PFN, Islamic bodies; God is not happy with this government, and if Tinubu doesn’t do all that is needed, he will be disgraced out of office," Ayodele warned.
He specifically targeted President Bola Tinubu's handling of security. Ayodele noted that failure to rescue the abducted children could end any second-term ambition.
"Tinubu has failed woefully in terms of security; Nigeria is in pain, and if these children die, Tinubu should forget about a second term because this is how it started during Jonathan," he added.
Ayodele also criticised Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde for attending a political rally to accept a presidential nomination despite the ongoing crisis in his state.
The prophet claimed he had issued multiple warnings about attacks on schools in Oyo but said authorities did not take them seriously.
This latest outburst adds to Ayodele's history of controversial prophecies targeting political figures. Critics often view his predictions as attention-seeking, while supporters see them as timely divine insights.
As insecurity continues to plague Nigeria, Ayodele's comments reflect growing public frustration with leadership. Many citizens demand urgent action to protect lives and restore confidence in governance.
