In a video that exploded on social media today, Nigerian relationship coach Gehgeh delivered one of his most blunt messages yet. He told men that a broke girl cannot truly love them.

“A broke girl is not capable of loving any man. You must be very stupid as a man to think a girl that’s in a survival mode is capable of loving you. She wants things and you as one man can’t be in a position to give her everything she wants,” he said.

Gehgeh, real name Emmanuel Obruste, runs “GehGeh University,” where he coaches men on avoiding certain women. In the nearly four-minute clip, he went further. He explained that a broke girl “doesn’t feel love” because survival consumes her. She craves clothes, hair, phones and skincare, he said, viewing a man only as an income source, not a boyfriend.

“She don’t have a job, family or parents… The easiest way is in relationships. Love isn’t part,” he continued. He described the dynamic as employer and unemployed employee: she demands, he pays, with no service returned. “You go pay pay pay. Not feel finish.”

The clip has drawn thousands of views and mixed reactions on X within hours. Some men praised it as “nuclear truth,” agreeing broke women drain resources. Others called the remarks harsh and one-sided.

This latest outburst fits Gehgeh’s pattern of controversial takes. In April 2026, his own sister publicly dragged him for refusing to help family members financially. She claimed he told her to find a boyfriend instead of asking him. Gehgeh responded coldly that “entitlement mentality equals poverty” and family owes nothing. Critics now highlight the irony: the man warning against broke girls once faced accusations of neglecting struggling relatives himself.

No pity surfaces in Gehgeh’s world. He insists successful men must protect their pockets from women in survival mode. The debate shows no sign of cooling. Nigerians remain sharply divided over whether his words expose harsh realities or simply fuel gender wars.
