For years, fans whispered about bad blood between Kcee and Flavour.
Today, December 7, 2025, Kcee ended the guessing game.
In a raw interview on Yanga FM Lagos, the “Limpopo” star looked back to a moment many never knew existed.
Soso Soberekon once brought a young Flavour from the East to Kcee’s doorstep, begging him to sign the hungry talent to his label.
Kcee turned him down. “I didn’t see the potential at that time,” he admitted calmly.
He was already driving Hummers and Navigators, living large while Flavour was still finding his way to Lagos.
That single “no” planted a seed that grew into years of subtle shade, cryptic posts, and finally the explosive 2024 social media clash everyone remembers.
Kcee insists it was never personal—just business.
Yet he wonders aloud why the rejection still stings Flavour till today.
He also took a quiet shot at colleagues who “underrate” him because he doesn’t brag.
“Time always proves them wrong,” he said, smiling.
Some have even returned to apologise in private.
Social media is on fire.
Some call Kcee arrogant for the old rejection, others say he’s simply keeping it real.
One thing is clear: the highlife throne both men sit close to just got a lot more interesting.
As of tonight, Flavour is yet to respond.
When he does, Nigeria will be listening.
