Grammy-winning Afrobeats star Burna Boy has found himself at the center of a brewing scandal after U.S.-based Nigerian artist, Doctor Spice, came forward with serious allegations. According to Spice, Burna Boy accepted a payment of $5,818 back in 2015 for a music video that was never produced and now, nearly a decade later, the singer is demanding accountability and threatening legal action.
Doctor Spice dropped the bombshell on July 13, posting what he called "receipts and truths" on social media. The posts included screenshots of money transfers, messages, and a bold callout accusing Burna Boy of ghosting him after receiving the payment.
