Phyna, winner of Big Brother Naija Season 7, has announced plans to become a mother via surrogacy.
The reality star made the revelation during a recent livestream on May 30, 2026. She stated her focus for the rest of this year and early next year is making money to achieve this goal.
“My goal for the rest of the year and early next year is I just want to focus on making money to have my first child,” Phyna said. “When I mean having my first child, I’m not getting pregnant myself, no way. I’m having my first child through surrogate.”
She admitted a change of heart from earlier statements. In April 2026, Phyna had ruled out biological children, preferring to be a “cat and dog mom.”
“You know, the last time I said I wanted to be cat and dog mom. So you guys I’ve changed my mind again,” she added. “I’ve changed my mind again. I’m gonna get a surrogate.”
This announcement comes weeks after Phyna publicly broke down over financial struggles. She admitted mismanaging her N100 million winnings by heavily supporting family members without proper investment guidance.
