Ugandan musician Ava Peace has firmly denied that explicit videos circulating on social media since Tuesday are hers. The clips, reportedly intimate in nature, began spreading rapidly on June 9 across WhatsApp, X, and other platforms.

The singer, known for tracks like “Ndi Omu” and “Who Was Here,” addressed the matter directly on Wednesday. In a statement posted on X, she said the footage does not depict her.

“This is NOT me,” Ava Peace wrote. She pointed to noticeable differences in the woman’s appearance in the videos.

“In one of the videos there’s a lady and a man but I’ve never gained that weight in my life. Even a fool can see that it ain’t my face,” she added.

The artist expressed frustration over the impact on her career. She noted the effort required to build her name in the industry.

“We go through a lot to put the name out to where it’s heard,” Ava Peace stated. She attributed the situation to “determined forces of evil.”

Despite this, she voiced confidence in a positive outcome. “But just coz there are determined forces of evil don’t mean God’s Fair Hand won’t prevail,” the statement continued.

Reactions on X have been mixed. Some users accepted her denial after reviewing the content, citing mismatches in physical features. Others continued sharing snippets or links, fueling further discussion and memes.

The incident fits a recent pattern of alleged private content leaks involving Ugandan personalities. Similar cases have sparked debates on digital privacy and the ethics of non-consensual sharing.

Ava Peace, signed to Black Market Records, maintains an active presence across music platforms. Her denial has drawn support from fans, who urged restraint in spreading unverified material.

No independent verification has confirmed the videos’ origin or authenticity. Authorities have not issued statements on potential legal angles under cybercrime regulations.

The episode underscores ongoing challenges celebrities face with online harassment and reputation management. Ava Peace urged responsible social media use amid the escalating rumors.

As the story develops, observers await further clarity. The musician continues focusing on her work, with supporters emphasizing verified information from official channels.
