Damilola Moshood, better known in Nollywood as Queen Dammy, has openly responded to rumors surrounding her pregnancy and her son’s paternity, insisting that her child was fathered by her husband, a king.
In an interview uploaded to Wasilacoded TV’s official YouTube channel on Thursday, August 8, 2025, the actress firmly rejected social media claims questioning her son’s lineage.
“I married the king when I was still young, and I had no boyfriend then,” she said. “It is impossible for me to give another man’s child to my husband. I didn’t buy my son, and I didn’t carry another man’s pregnancy for the king — my son is the king’s child.”
She further emphasized that the pregnancy happened only after her marriage, stating, “The king is the one who got me pregnant, and I gave birth to his child. People can keep talking, but the truth remains.”
Queen Dammy said her statement was meant to correct misconceptions and protect her family’s integrity. She acknowledged the difficulty celebrities face in maintaining boundaries between public interest and personal privacy, particularly in matters of marriage and motherhood.
By making her position clear, she hopes to silence the controversy and redirect public focus toward her career achievements.
