Wizkid has never been the type to wear his heart on his sleeve, so when the Afrobeats king opened up about Jada Pollock in his brand-new HBO documentary, the internet stopped scrolling.
The 85-minute film, Music Box: Wizkid: Long Live Lagos, premiered on HBO Max on December 11, 2025, and one scene in particular has gossip pages on fire.
Sitting calmly in a dimly lit room, Wizkid looks straight at the camera and says of Jada: “Her hard work, her passion, her loyalty… nobody comes close.” He then drops the line that’s now trending worldwide: “I find women very easy to collaborate with.”
Jada herself appears emotional when she speaks about balancing their whirlwind career with raising their son Zion and keeping the family unit “steady.” The couple welcomed Zion in October 2017, and the documentary doesn’t shy away from showing tender home footage.
Fans are calling it the sweetest public tribute Wizkid has ever given anyone, with #WizkidLovesJada racking up millions of views overnight.
Yet the gossip mills are whispering. Some viewers noticed that while Jada is painted as the rock holding everything together, Wizkid’s other baby mamas and past relationships are completely absent from the story. One viral X post asked: “Beautiful tribute, but why erase the rest of the family tree?”
Still, most viewers are too busy swooning to care. “He literally thanked the woman who’s been managing him since 2014 and stood by him through every headline.
For a man who once said he doesn’t like talking about his private life, this feels like the closest thing to a public love letter Wizkid has ever written.
Long Live Lagos is streaming now on HBO Max, and trust us, you’ll want tissues for that Jada scene.
