These were first-hand accounts from survivors the congressional delegation met during a fact-finding mission ordered by President Trump.
One woman told Moore her soul “has literally left my body” after militants murdered her entire family in front of her.
Another man showed his mangled arm, permanently damaged while trying to protect his children.
Moore didn’t mince words on Fox News: “If this is just about land and climate change, why burn the churches? Why attack camps full of women and children while screaming Islamic slogans?”
The scale is staggering, over 7,000 Christians killed in 2025 alone and nearly 700,000 displaced in Benue.
He’s now writing a direct report to President Trump that insiders say will push for hardline measures, possibly linking U.S. aid to real action against the armed groups.
Nigerian officials are already hitting back, claiming the visit was “one-sided” for skipping Muslim victims in other regions.
But the graphic details Moore brought home and the viral clip of his interview are forcing America to finally pay attention to a crisis too many have ignored for years.
