In a dramatic turn that has gripped social media, Nollywood actress Doris Ogala was reportedly arrested on Saturday evening, December 20, 2025, right in the middle of a livestream.
Eyewitness accounts say police entered her home as she spoke to an online host, cutting the session short. Her current whereabouts remain unknown.
The arrest stems from a heated public dispute with Pastor Chris Okafor, founder of Grace Nation Ministry in Lagos.
Ogala claims their relationship began in 2017 when she sought pastoral guidance during a troubled marriage. She alleges he promised marriage, introduced her to his family, and even accessed her finances, ncluding a ₦45 million transfer.
Things soured when Okafor married another woman, Pearl, on December 16, 2025.
Heartbroken, Ogala went public with tearful videos, accusing him of betrayal, sharing private images, and causing her emotional trauma, including miscarriages and suicidal thoughts.
She issued a ₦1 billion legal demand for breach of promise to marry and threatened to release compromising videos.
In a recent podcast, she escalated further, calling on the DSS to investigate his church altar, claiming someone died during construction and dark secrets are buried there.
Comedian Dee One announced the arrest on Instagram, saying he had warned her the allegations "didn't add up."
A church contact dismissed the claims as "false allegations," while Okafor has stayed mostly silent, posting subtle Bible verses amid the storm.
This saga mixes love, faith, and scandal, leaving fans divided. As the story unfolds, one thing is clear: the drama is far from over.
