Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck, real name Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu, is making headlines for something far from music this time. The “Declan Rice” crooner is facing a court case over an alleged violent assault that reportedly happened during a public event late last year.

According to multiple credible Nigerian news outlets, the case was filed by singer and photographer Levi Ogbogiri, better known as Kraziecent, who claims Odumodublvck attacked him without provocation while he was taking videos and selfies at an event on December 16, 2024. The shocking part? Kraziecent says the rapper not only hit him but also damaged his iPhone 15 Pro Max during the altercation.
The case was heard recently at the Abuja High Court before Justice Adeyemi Ajayi, where Kraziecent’s lawyer, Uchenna Ojembe, confirmed that Odumodublvck had been properly served with the lawsuit. Representing the rapper, defense lawyer Sheriff Bello asked for more time to prepare, and the court adjourned the matter until November 26, 2025, for a full hearing.
Kraziecent’s demands are hefty, he’s asking for compensation for his damaged phone, physical injuries, emotional trauma, and reputational damage. He also wants a public apology from Odumodublvck, to be published on social media and in two national newspapers, plus a restraining order to keep the rapper away from him.
While the court documents suggest a civil case, some reports hint that a criminal angle could still be explored, which might carry a potential jail term if proven. For now, Odumodublvck remains free and has yet to make any public comment about the allegations. His social media remains active, but his posts are all about music, self-promotion, and his usual boastful tone, nothing addressing the scandal.
Fans, however, have filled in the silence. Since the story broke on October 16, social media has been buzzing with takes, memes, and mixed reactions. Some fans defend the rapper, calling the claims exaggerated, while others say it fits his pattern, recalling his 2024 on-stage scuffle where he kicked a fan who ran up during his show. That old clip has now resurfaced online, reigniting conversations about Odumodublvck’s temper.
Meanwhile, Kraziecent hasn’t been shy about standing firm. Described as a rising entertainer and photographer, he says the incident left him humiliated and injured, and he’s seeking justice. The case has stirred the Nigerian entertainment scene, exposing the sometimes volatile relationships between celebrities and fans in public spaces.
As the November hearing approaches, fans are watching closely. Whether this ends in a courtroom apology, a quiet settlement, or something more serious, one thing’s for sure - Odumodublvck’s name is back in the headlines, and not for a chart-topping hit this time.
