In a raw, emotional outburst, Nigerian radio star Do2dtun has ignited a firestorm, alleging the US Embassy in Lagos conspired in his children's "abduction" by issuing new passports without his nod.

Kayode Oladotun, better known as Do2dtun, married Taiwo Oyebanjo in 2013. Their union crumbled amid divorce filings in late 2021, with Taiwo citing abuse claims he fiercely denies.
By 2022, tensions peaked. Do2dtun held the original US passports for their three kids, dual Nigerian-American citizens. A Federal High Court order barred their removal from Nigeria during the custody fight.
Yet, shockingly, fresh passports materialized. Taiwo, no US citizen, whisked the children to America that year. Do2dtun claims he hasn't seen them in three agonizing years.
On November 29, 2025, Do2dtun unloaded on X, tagging @USinNigeria. "This was the picture they took with my kids before they were abducted," he posted, sharing photos of smiling US officials posing with the little ones.
He zeroed in on Mary Beth Leonard, then Consul General. "How is it possible... a parent who is not an American citizen issued new passports without consent from the father?" Do2dtun fumed, questioning ties to "perpetrators."
The posts paint a father's desperation. "I am an amazing father and I deserve equal right and fairness," he wrote. "Bring my kids to me."
This saga spotlights custody nightmares across borders. US rules demand both parents' consent for minors' passports or proof of sole custody. Did the embassy bypass that? Whispers suggest Leonard's circle might link to Taiwo's famous brother, singer D'banj.
Neither the embassy nor Taiwo has commented. Do2dtun vows his "unrelenting jabs" won't stop until reunion.
As courts drag on, one dad's plea echoes: Where's the fairness in a system that silences a father's voice? This isn't just gossip, it's a cry for justice in a tangled web of love, law, and lost years.
