The streets of Sagamu woke up to chaos on Saturday morning. Popular Nigerian TikToker and entertainer DJ Chicken, whose real name is Ademola Abiodun, found himself at the center of a violent storm.
It all started around 7:30 AM local time. Witnesses say DJ Chicken was behind the wheel of a sleek Mercedes Benz, speeding through a narrow road in the Ogun State town. Then, disaster struck.

He rammed into a commercial motorcycle carrying a man and a woman. The impact was brutal. The bike crumpled like paper. The female passenger hit the ground hard, blood streaming from her wounds. She lay there, writhing in pain.

DJ Chicken stepped out of his car. Instead of rushing the injured woman to a hospital, he reportedly shouted, “Egbe! Stand up!” – a moment captured on video that would later fuel public outrage.
Within minutes, a crowd gathered. What began as concern for the victims quickly turned into fury aimed at the entertainer. Local “area boys” descended on him like a pack.

They didn’t hold back. Sticks, fists, and boots rained down on DJ Chicken. His face swelled instantly. Blood poured from his nose and mouth. His shirt was torn to shreds. Someone snatched his phone. Another smashed his car windows.
“Beat him well!” one man shouted in the viral clip. “He thinks he’s untouchable!” DJ Chicken begged for mercy, his voice breaking. “Please, I’m sorry… abeg!”
The assault lasted nearly ten minutes. By the time it ended, the once-boisterous influencer was barely recognizable. His face looked like it had been through a grinder. He staggered away, alive but broken.
This wasn’t his first brush with danger. Just weeks earlier, on October 12, he was accused of a hit-and-run in the same Sagamu area. He allegedly smashed another car and fled the scene. No arrests. No consequences.
In 2024, he was beaten over alleged disrespect to socialite Abu Abel. In 2023, rumors swirled that a human head was found in his car after another crash – claims he denied, but the story stuck.
Some say this latest attack wasn’t just about the accident. “He’s been acting too big,” one local told our source. “People have been waiting for a reason.”
The injured woman was eventually taken to a clinic, but her condition remains unknown. The bike rider sustained minor injuries. No police report has been filed as of press time.
DJ Chicken has gone silent online since the incident. His last post? A flashy video showing off cash and cars now a bitter irony.
Social media is divided. Some call the mob justice “deserved karma.” Others condemn the violence, saying the victims were forgotten in the chaos.
One thing is clear: DJ Chicken’s reckless lifestyle has caught up with him again. Whether this finally forces a change, only time will tell.
For now, Sagamu breathes a sigh of relief. The “chicken” has been plucked and the streets remembers.
